The Powerfence is positioned as a topping, pulsing a high-energy, but safe voltage around the fence line, which if touched by intruders, will deliver a short, sharp shock, similar to high level static bite back voltage. The systems ensures that the determined intruder, intent on breaking through or over the external perimeter will be detected and apprehended quickly.
The system can use almost any existing perimeter fence or wall as a host, on to which the Power Fence system is mounted. Care is taken in the system design to ensure that the Power Fence is correctly applied and that no "man traps" are formed. The Power Fence is extended to a minimum of 600mm above the existing fence or wall, to provide an anti-climb section. (OptionA)
